Welcome to the Sixth Week of Rio’s pregnancy! This week is an exciting time as the puppies are rapidly approaching their due date.
The puppies are now around an inch long and are continuing to grow rapidly. Their fur is becoming starting to develop, and their facial features are becoming more defined. The puppies have sex organs and begining to develop into either a male or a female. The puppies are also starting to develop their personalities, and we may be able to feel them moving around inside of Rio’s tummy.
As the puppies grow, the Rio’s body is working hard to support their needs. Her appetite has remained consistent. We are providing her with high-quality nutrition and plenty of water to keep her hydrated. We are also watching her behavior and health closely to see if there are any changes.
In this Sixth Week, we are finalizing preparations for the upcoming births. We have a pile of blankets and towels. We have also consulted Rio’s vet.
We know its important to start monitoring Rio’s temperature regularly as we approach the due date. We have not noticed any changes in temperature.
Overall, this Sixth Week is an exciting time as the puppies are rapidly growing and preparing for their arrival. We’re thrilled to be a part of this journey and can’t wait to see what the upcoming weeks have in store for us! Stay tuned for more updates.
